FDR Drive to Houston exit. Park close to FDR Drive.  Cross the FDR on Houston, walk down left ramp. You will see softball fields on the right. Keep walking, next fenced field with running track and Parks Dept. facilities is E. 6th.  Or walk to corner of 6th and the FDR, go over the over pass and the field will be right in front of you.
 
Subway:
F train to 2nd Ave stop. Walk East on Houston until corner of FDR and Houston and follow directions above.
Or take any subway to Union Square, cross over to the south side of 14th street and take the 14"D" crosstown bus to Avenue D and 6th Street, walk east towards the FDR on 6th street, go over the overpass to the other side of the FDR, the field will be in front of you.

Follow the signs for the 80-85 fields.  The fields are in Wards Island right next to the entrance of the walking bridge at 103rd Street.  Take the 1st avenue bus to the walking bridge and cross over or take the bus from 125th Street (see Randall's Icahn directions) and go into Wards Island, get off on the first stop after the gate. Take BQE towards Verrazano Bridge to Belt Parkwaythen Belt Parkway to exit 5 ( Bay Parkway). Follow service road going towards exit 6. You will pass a shopping center on the right (K-Mart). Then an amusement park (Nely Bly). An underpass on the left.  The Park is on the right side (Parks Dept. leaf logo on the fence. Drive in all the way to the end of the fence on the left hand side. Make a left (follow the fence). You will see entrance to the field.
 
Subway:
M or D to Bay Parkway. You may need to find a cab (long walk). Or walk towards the Belt parkway, go under the underpass and follow same directions as above.

Go over overpass, you will pass a Nathan's on the right, then a golf course, the field is right next to the golf course (you can park on 86th street or 14th ave (park is on corner of 86th and 14th ave). The field is all the way inside.
 
 
Subway :
Take the "R” train to 86th & 4th Ave stop. Walk down 86th Street (or take bus) to 86th Street and 14th Avenue (about 15-20 minute walk). Dyker beach Park is on the right after you pass the Dyker Beach golf course.

Train:
Get train #7 at Times Square or 42nd Street and get off at "Shea Stadium”  (40 min. ride) walk for at least 5 minutes.   If the #7 is not working, take the N to Queensboro Plaza and switch to #7 and exit at "Shea Stadium".
 
Car:
From NJ or NYC:    Triborough Bridge or BQE to Grand Central Pkwy. exit at 111 St. at the end of the ramp make a left; at the light bear to the right, pass a traffic light go onto Roosevelt Ave. and make a left.   About 100 yards make a right, go straight that curve and make a left at the end.   Go straight, pass the circumference, and at the stop make left.   Pass the US Open Tennis Center Stadium and the parking lot is at your right.
 
From Long Island:   Get Long Island Expressway West exit 22B, continue to your right and you will end up in College Point, pass 4-5 lights.   Make a left between the AMOCO gas station and a WESTERN BEEF supermarket that is Avery Avenue; at the end of the block make a right; follow the route to the end and you’ll see a parking lot.   Park there and look for the field.
 
From Connecticut:   Get 95 South to Whitestone Bridge follow Grand Central Parkway exit on " Northern Blvd.”. On the traffic light make a LEFT (that is 114th Street); go toward the next traffic light and make a left (That’s Roosevelt Ave.) about 100 yards make a right.   (Follow the map) .

New Jersey: Take George Washington Bridge (lower level) to Henry Hudson Parkway South, bear left and exit at Riverside Drive, continue South on Riverside Drive to 145th Street, turn right to enter the park.
 
Long Island: Take Whitestone Bridge to Cross-Bronx Expressway, take Westside Highway exit, bear left to Riverside Drive exit, turn right off the exit and continue straight to Riverside Drive to 145th Street. Turn right into the park.
 
Bus:
From Bronx - Cross-town BX19 to Riverbank.
   
From Manhattan - M11 Bus directly into the park.
 
Subway:
#1 train to 145th Street, walk one block west.
 
A, C, B, D trains to 145th Street, walk 3 blocks west.
 
Parking:
   
2 upper level, (same level as the field by the 145th street entrance), spaces reserved for NYMWSL during game times – you will need the permit for these. Additional parking is available on the lower level. Also, street parking should not be difficult to find on Sundays.
 
FYI – pets are prohibited.
